Preview Cocktail Party, Monday, March 28, 7-9pm

Gallery One One presents Tally, a glass and mixed media installation by Carrie Iverson and Nathan Sandberg. Tally stages the objects of time and place. Inspired by icons of marking, one's progression through a cityscape, to do-lists, routes, borders, and archeology, Carrie and Nathan combine kilnformed glass with concrete, bricks, and stakes to create an installation of consuming flow.

Dang—that's a whole lot in one night! Come by Brazee Street Studios tomorrow, Wednesday, March 23 from 7pm–9pm. POWERHOUSE FACTORIES will be showing a variety of printed works from over the years as well as printing a special edition poster just for that night, ON THE SPOT, as well as some experimental prints on GLASS! Posters and apparel from POWERHOUSE FACTORIES will be available for purchase until Friday, March 25th.

Brazee Street School of Glass is pleased to welcome visiting instructor and glass bead maker, Bronwen Heilman, for this three-day enamel workshop. Students will explore Bronwen's reverse painting technique and learn how to manipulate and apply enamels to glass created on both the torch and in the kiln. By applying wet enamel, students will capture their own line-drawings on a flat surface, and apply the fired image to their beads.
