Brazee Street Studios Renovation of a 15,000 square-foot existing manufacturing facility into a mixed-use art complex that features storm-water bioretention, landscaping with native, drought resistant prairie grasses, and a rooftop photovoltaic array that supplies 16% of the building’s total energy costs. About 97% of the existing building shell and structure and 52% of the non-structural interior elements were reused in the remodel.

This workshop will guide students through a comprehensive look at kilnforming techniques using a range of glass forms. Students will learn to design in glass using stringer, frit, confetti, and rod which will culminate in the creation of their own set of fused tiles, stacks project, slumped bowls and plate. This is the perfect workshop for any beginning fuser.
