Solar Installation Begins Today!

The fearless folks at Dovetail Solar & Wind have arrived with our Solar PV System! Installation of the Solyndra 33.5kW direct grid photovoltaic solar panel system will take place all week on the roof at Brazee Street Studios! We are thrilled, and looking forward to some nice installation weather. Stay tuned for installation photos as the week goes on...

SOG presents Nathan Sandberg in THE SURFACE: Kiln-glass workshop

SOG is pleased to welcome visiting instructor and glass artist Nathan Sandberg June 15-18th! In this three day, jam-packed workshop The Surface, Nathan will lead students through a multitude of ways that textures can be created in kiln-glass projects. That's not all! Nathan will also lead a vitrograph demonstration on Thursday, June 17th. Do not miss STRING MACHINE, for your chance to pull vitrograph stringer and design your own bowl. Special discounted price and stringy food included!

Brazee Street Studio Artists Participating in EcoSculpt on Fountain Square

Four of our very own studio artists were selected to participate in EcoSculpt, a springtime art show featuring sculptures made of entirely recycled materials. We are proud that two dynamic duos from Brazee Street Studios will be represented on Fountain Square. Artists Pam Fellerhoff & Nicole Reblando of HaloMiner are creating larger than life recycled flower sculptures and team Christopher Daniel and Sandra Gross are joining forces to create "Vitro-house". Don't miss this exciting outdoor event! Show runs April 9-29, 2010.

Fun with the fire marshall! Brazee Street School of Glass (SOG) floated through the fog this morning while our fire alarm system was tested... there was laughter, chaos and lots and lots of fog. SOG IN THE FOG!
