CALL FOR ENTRY - "shape:CIRCLE" Exhibition + Sale at gallery One One

WHO gallery One One invites artists, designers, and craftsmen of all kinds to participate in our fourth annual Summer Call For Entry.
WHAT For the last 3-years our Summer group show has focused on COLOR through our "hue:" exhibitions. We are shifting gears away from color to celebrate a different, but equally crucial design element - SHAPE! Shapes are fundamental building blocks to all artwork- sculpture, painting, jewelry, etc, with a history all their own. What SHAPE is more universal than a CIRCLE?!
Round, dot, curved, hoop, coil, circuit, disk, ring, bowl, lip, crown, wheel, wreath, halo, powerful, infinite, strong, sphere, soft, sun, moon, globe, eye, coil, cycle, compass.

We invite artists to submit both functional and non-functional artwork that incorporates the CIRCLE. Circle can be reflected in the building blocks of your forms, in the rim of a vessel, or as compositional shapes in your paintings. Circles are everywhere! Let the circle inspire you to create, riff, extend your current work, or to create something entirely round and new. Combined, we will create a shop-like exhibition full of diverse artwork and craft, inspired by the CIRCLE.
WHERE gallery One One, located at Brazee Street Studios in Oakley.
