Beginning Glassblowing I - Thursday Night Session, September-October

Date(s):	Thursday nights for six-weeks Thursday, September 12 - Thursday, October 17
Time(s):	6:00-9:00pm each week

Experience glass blowing for the first time. Students in this six-week workshop will experience a range of glass blowing techniques designed to inspire and orient them to the creative possibilities in blown glass. Students will learn to create a variety of glass forms, including paperweights, ornaments, cups, bowls, and more. Hot shop safety, form, and etiquette are stressed throughout the workshop.

Brazee Street Studios’ gallery One One’s current exhibit hue:RED is the third in a series of annual color-themed spring/summer shows.
Gallery director Leah Busch noted, “We were looking for a theme we could repeat annually, something fun and accessible that artists working in a range of mediums could respond to. The color red elicits a range of emotions and associations – love, lust, fire, heat, death.”
The work in hue:RED ranges from painting and sculpture to functional housewares and jewelry by more than a dozen artists.
